Dealertrack applications, built from the deal you already have.

For stores whose lender relationships run through Dealertrack, DealersCloud submits the credit application from inside the deal rather than asking your F&I manager to type the customer in twice.

Background

What Dealertrack is.

Dealertrack is the other major credit-application network in North American automotive retail. Many independent dealerships run some lenders through Dealertrack and others through RouteOne, which is why both connections matter rather than either one.

What the integration does.

  1. Submit the application from the deal

The credit application is built from the deal you already have on the desk - buyer, co-buyer, the financed amount and the payment - so nothing is re-typed into a second system. You choose which lenders it goes to and submit from inside the deal.

  2. Buyer and co-buyer together

Both applicants go with the submission, so a co-signed deal does not become two pieces of work.

  3. Choose the lenders on the submission

Lien providers are selected per submission rather than fixed, so a deal can go to the lenders you actually want on it. The customer record and the deal terms stay the source, so the same application is not rebuilt for each lender.

  4. One worksheet, either network

The same deal can be sent through Dealertrack or RouteOne depending on which lender you are working, without maintaining the customer record in two places. For a store that splits its book between the two networks, that is the difference between one process and two.

Why it matters here

An integration is only as good as the record behind it.

The reason this connection saves time is that everything it touches already lives in one place. Inventory, the CRM, desking and F&I, accounting and your dealer website run on the same records, so data arriving from Dealertrack lands on a customer and a vehicle that already exist rather than creating a second copy of either.

Questions

Dealertrack, answered.

Does DealersCloud work with Dealertrack?
Yes. Credit applications are submitted to Dealertrack from the deal, carrying the buyer, co-buyer, financed amount and payment.
Can I use Dealertrack and RouteOne together?
Yes. Both connections exist, and the same deal can be submitted through whichever network the lender you are working sits on.
Do I need my own Dealertrack account?
Yes. The integration connects your dealership to Dealertrack using your own credentials and your own lender relationships. It does not resell access or change who you are approved with.

A specialist will show you the connection end to end, using your store's setup rather than a demo account.
